Founder X-Forces Enterprise (XFE)

Ren has combined her years of experience to support others through enterprise. Essential to this has been bringing together Corporate, Government and Charity stakeholders at the most senior levels on a national and local level.  In 2009 Ren was appointed National Champion for Business Administration and Finance by the Education Secretary and has more recently seen her passion to provide enterprise skills learning for all ages brought to life through Enterprise for Life®

Ren founded X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) in 2013. XFE is the leading organisation in the UK for Enterprise and Start-up Skills in the Military community.

Ren has held a life-long passion for the Armed Forces community and in 2018 was appointed Lt Col. In the Army Reserves.  In 2018 Ren was appointed the first ever volunteer Armed Forces Champion for small businesses by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

Ren is a Visiting Fellow at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School, leading on enterprise Learning and is a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group, Women in Enterprise

In 2016 Ren was awarded an MBE for her service to Entrepreneurship in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List.

From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

For any enquiries relating to economic development across the counties of Hampshire and Surrey, please visit the Hampshire County Council website and Business Surrey respectively.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.
