From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.

Project description

Brockenhurst College improved and extended facilities for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) courses, creating a state-of-the-art centre. A key element of the new learning provision is utilising new learning technologies developed by IBM. The project has high specification laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology. It includes interactive science and maths teaching rooms; workshops and IT suites which features new learning technology developed with IBM. IBM are an integral part of the project, contributing to the project by providing software, learning communities analytical services including marketing support. This project supports the area’s labour demand for a workforce with essential STEM skills and up to date digital skills.
