SETA

SETA - Training for Industry - Apprenticeships and Engineering Courses (setatraining.co.uk)

Saturday activity for students interested in engineering apprenticeships.  It’s an opportunity to try different skills.  Students must register on the website or via the link in the flyer (see associated document to the right of this page) to attend.

SETA is based in Southampton but they work with employers and apprentices across the South.  They can visit schools to talk to groups of interested students and can do a workshop and explain that in  engineering there are many different roles.  Apprentices need 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above and generally have a hobby/interest in some sort of engineering.

The contact is Michelle Rolfe, mrolfe@seta-training.co.uk
