Round 1 of the Growing Enterprise Fund

In July 2012 we awarded funding to two projects across the Enterprise M3 area. 

Sheerwater Access Road Scheme

£2m was awarded to Woking Borough Council to improve road access to the Sheerwater Business Parks in Woking as part of a  £4m scheme, which also received funding from Surrey County Council's Travel SMART programme.

Tannery Studios

£200,000 was awarded to Wey Holdings Ltd for improvements to Tannery Studios, part of the Send Business Park near Woking. The funding was designated for providing improved broadband infrastructure to tenants, securing and repairing canal wharf frontage and creating new highway signage.

Funding was awarded to a further two projects in October 2012.

Activation Aldershot

£3.175m was awarded to Rushmoor Borough Council for a  programme of town centre improvements aimed at helping Rushmoor accelerate its plans to bring 3,850 new homes and at least 500 new jobs to the town.

Brightwells, Farnham

£1.573m was awarded to Waverley Borough Council to fund enabling projects required for the wider town regeneration project.

All projects are subject to due diligence and the awarding of contracts.
