Susan George
Project Manager
Susan joined the LEP in October 2017 to project manage the European Regional Development Fund Technical Assistance Project after working at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council as lead partner for their Erasmus+ EU funded project promoting character education for young people. Susan was also a project partner for their two URBACT EU funded projects – TechTown that supported the growth of digital businesses and RetaiLink which worked to revitalise town centres. Susan is now involved in project management for the South Central Cluster of LEPs and Growth Hubs.
Prior to this Susan had a successful career in banking providing training and development of staff to deliver compliant sales and advice to personal and business banking clients. She also ran her own holiday home and coaching business in France for 10 years.
Our teams
From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.
The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.
