Ambitious about playing your part to achieve Net Zero?

Enterprise M3 is committed to doing what we can to achieve the Government’s ambition to reach Net Zero by 2050.  In addition to supporting this through our own activity, we want to make sure every business and organisation we work with feels confident to play their part in this transition.

Some steps you can take include:

  • First and foremost, contact the EM3 Growth Hub. Our experienced team may be able to help or provide tailored signposting.
  • The Government has launched the SME Climate Hub which is a directory of support and is part of a national campaign to get businesses to Commit to Net Zero.
  • The Carbon Trust has a range of tools and resources that can help you measure your carbon footprint and make changes to reduce your impact.
  • Many high street banks have started to provide Net Zero advice as part of their business support offer so it is worth checking with your bank
  • The GreenTech South initiative offers local business support.
  • The LOCASE project provides a free business support programme in the South and East, with grants up to £10,000.
  • There are also local business networks that you might like to join, such as the Sustainable Business Network.  The one based in Hampshire is https://www.hampshireiowsustainablebusiness.co.uk/sustainable-business-networks/
  • Action Surrey provides impartial energy efficiency advice to identify ways to help your business reduce energy costs for small to medium sized businesses in the Surrey.
  • The LEP has funded the Innovation South Virtual Campus, which offers a growing range of Green Skills courses aimed at businesses.
