Save the date - EM3 launch event for £16m of European funding

Almost £16m of European funding for projects linked to research, digital, clean growth and business expansion, is being made available to innovators in the Enterprise M3 area. Learn more at a launch event on Tuesday, July 2.
 
The LEP has organised the ERDF Specification Launch and Partnering Event to promote their next round of ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) calls that will open on Friday, June 28 2019. These funds are guaranteed by the Treasury regardless of Brexit outcomes and projects can run up to December 2023.
 
The event at The Living Planet Centre, Rufford House, Brewery Road, Woking, GU21 4LL, will outline how the £15.7m of ERDF funding will be launched in four specifications for projects to focus on:
  • R&D and Commercialisation Activities worth £4.7m ERDF
  • Digital Growth worth £1.5m ERDF
  • SME Growth worth £6.8m ERDF
  • Low Carbon and Energy worth £2.7m ERDF
The Core Programme runs from 10am (with registration from 9.30am) until 2pm and includes a free networking lunch. An ERDF for Beginners Workshop runs from 2pm to 3pm but if you already have a project in mind, this can be publicised to potential partners on the day. You can also register for a free one-to-one clinic from 2pm to 3.30pm, to discuss your project.
 
The deadline for receiving outline applications is 30 September, 2019.
