Runnymede Roundabout Improvements Works Commence

Works to improve the capacity of Runnymede Roundabout begin today.

The £5.9m scheme, partially funded by the LEP, will help to relieve congestion at this strategic location close with immediate connections to the M25 (Junction 13). The improvement measures are expected to contribute to retention of existing businesses, whilst attracting new development, thereby contributing to local economic growth and job creation. The tackling of congestion and delays is expected to reduce journey time and cost of travel, improve overall journey reliability, and reduce accident risk.

The scheme is being delivered by Surrey County Council and more details can be found on their Website.
