Julia Potts joins Enterprise M3 LEP Board

Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) are delighted to announce the appointment of Julia Potts as a local authority board member. Julia, who is Leader of Waverley Borough Council, is one of four local authority representatives on the Enterprise M3 LEP board.

Julia has been a councillor in both Farnham Town Council and Waverley Borough Council since 2011. Before becoming Leader of Waverley Borough Council in 2016, she held a variety of portfolios, including Leisure, Culture and Young People, Finance, and Major Projects.  Prior to her involvement in politics, Julia had a successful 20 year career in the ‘Fast Moving Consumer Goods’ (FMCG) sector, working with Procter & Gamble and Coty Inc., the company behind major cosmetic brands like Chloe, Calvin Klein and Rimmel London, among others. She became self-employed in 2003, starting her sales, marketing and training consulting business.

Commenting on her appointment, Julia said: “I am really pleased to have joined the Enterprise M3 LEP board as a local authority representative. The LEP is playing a significant role in driving business and infrastructure growth, as well as improving the quality of life in our area. I look forward to working with other members of the board to build on the remarkable success already achieved.” 

In addition to Enterprise M3 LEP, Julia is a board member of The Farnham Maltings and The Sandy Hill Bungalow, a Trustee of Hale Cottage Trust, and Governor at Hale School & Sure Start Centre. She is also involved with Farnham Area Neighbourhood Watch and passionate about working with local residents to improve facilities and overall quality of life.
