The deadline for entries to this year’s Great British High Street Awards is midnight on 4 July.

The Great British High Street Awards are an exciting opportunity for councils, businesses, community groups and volunteers to celebrate their high streets and learn from others how to succeed in overcoming the challenges of a rapidly changing retail economy.

Entries can be submitted from across the United Kingdom for either the Champion award or the Rising Star award, with national winners being announced later this year for both categories.

There will also be an overall High Street of the Year and an overall Rising Star of the Year, with both winners being selected from the respective national award winners.

Winners can receive up to £15,000 to contribute towards their high street, which they can use to support a local community initiative, to host a celebratory high street party or put towards a sustainability programme.

For further information about the awards and how to enter, please visit the Great British High Street awards website.
