Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership is seeking a results-driven innovative leader, with strong project management, partnership working, problem-solving and business development skills to be its next Head of Enterprise Zones and Commercial Property.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the programme of work to ensure the successful development of the high profile, multi-site Enterprise Zone. They will position EM3 as the driving force behind the Enterprise Zone’s mission to become a prime location for locating businesses in the EM3 region.

A strong partnership operator with powerful influencing and negotiation skills, the Head of Enterprise Zones and Commercial Property will lead on stakeholder engagement with EM3’s partner local authorities and businesses as well as the Department for International Trade, the British Chambers of Commerce, Confederation of British Industry and other relevant bodies.

The post holder will also establish strong partnerships with private developers in order to help bring forward innovative, progressive proposals for the development of each site, as well as work in collaboration with commercial property developers to bring forward new projects that deliver on the LEP and partners’ strategic ambitions for clean and sustainable economic growth.

Part of the senior management team, the Head of Enterprise Zones and Commercial Property will be expected to bring new ideas and ways of thinking to the team and the EM3 Board, in order to help shape and refine the LEP’s plans for Recovery and Renewal in the region as well as the long-term vision and strategy for EM3.

From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.
