You are warmly invited to join our Annual Conference and AGM to find out how the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3 LEP) is empowering our region’s businesses, on Friday 20th May, 2022.
The event is taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, where you will hear from businesses already helped by EM3, understand our future plans to support the growth of our regional economy and have the opportunity to put your questions LIVE to our business board.
During the event you will have multiple opportunities to network with some of the region’s most successful businesses and influencers.
As part of our exciting programme, you will also have the chance to hear directly from some of our region's top business leaders how their successes have been supported by EM3's work with high-growth, high-performing companies.
The panel will comprise of:
Prof. Sir Martin Sweeting, Executive Chairman of Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL).
Marketing expert Jarmila Yu, who is globally ranked a Top 100 CMO.
Steve Northam who is the founder and director of a range of companies, including The IncuHive Group.
Chairing the business panel will be EM3 director Linda Cheung, who is the Co-founder of Intrapreneur Nation.
There will also be the opportunity to put your questions to the business panel.

10:50am: Kathy Slack OBE, EM3's Chief Executive, speaks about the LEP's work supporting businesses in the region
11:15am: Board Q&A: a chance for you to put your questions directly to our EM3 Board members
11:55am: Reflections and next steps from our chair Michael Queen
12.00pm – 2pm - Join us for lunch and a further opportunity to chat with old friends and new contacts.
A note about our keynote speaker Michael Queen, chair of EM3: Michael is a passionate supporter of the value of cross-sector collaboration in the development of innovative, successful businesses. In the years after his time as Chief Executive of 3i Group plc, Michael’s expertise has been in great demand. He was a member of the Prime Minister's Business Advisory Group from 2010 to 2012, has been Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and President of Surrey 100, a business Angel Group.
Currently, he is Chair of the Committee of University Chairs and Chair of the University of Surrey.

From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.
The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.
For any enquiries relating to economic development across the counties of Hampshire and Surrey, please visit the Hampshire County Council website and Business Surrey respectively.
Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.
