The Centre is located at Broxhead House, a Victorian building within Louisburg Barracks, which was previously used as sergeant’s accommodation by the army. Owned by Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), the building’s military heritage will provide a unique selling point for the Centre, whilst its location on the gateway to the site will be attractive to businesses. The facility will be managed by an experienced company to provide a range of business support services such as:

• Office space offered on flexible terms
• Meeting rooms and conference facilities
• Virtual office services for home-based businesses
• A business lounge with hot-desking and wi-fi
• Training for businesses in key areas, such as HR and marketing, to support growth
• Shared services for small business to create economies of scale in running costs. The delivery of employment space is critical to the economic regeneration of Whitehill and Bordon helping to create a thriving community and not just a dormitory town.

Therefore, this investment will help kick-start the perception of Whitehill and Bordon as an economic hub and create market confidence by attracting entrepreneurs and supporting local start-ups and small businesses.
