Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership helps to deliver increased productivity, prosperity and an improved quality of life for people living and working across west Surrey and most of Hampshire.

We were formed in 2011 and became Enterprise M3 Ltd in March 2019 and the Articles of Association explain our purpose as well as our duties and responsibilities. Enterprise M3 works through an Accountable Body, Hampshire County Council, and engage and work closely with them across all our activities.

We receive funds from Central Government and local partners which we use to invest to support projects that help create, nurture and sustain the right conditions for economic success and enhanced productivity in our area. We aim to step in to enable growth which otherwise wouldn't happen.

Over the past 12 years, the LEP has delivered more than £730 million in investments. This includes securing £250 million government funding which we have invested in economic growth, delivered bespoke business support, driven innovation and attracted international investment.

This has resulted in £54m being invested in digital technologies, and over £21m invested in low carbon initiatives. Our funding has also created or safeguarded 11,000 jobs and enabled the building of over 23,000 houses and 32,000m2 of commercial office space.

Our investments have also leveraged external investment from businesses and our partners, pulling in an impressive £320m in foreign investment, helping to drive the expansion of world leading sectors, including space and satellite, video games and animal health.
