There is still time for ambitious SMEs who want to grow their sales in international markets to apply for match funded grants from the South East Internationalisation Fund.

The programme is being delivered by the Department of International Trade (DIT) and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3) area with over £400,000 of funding remaining and available to businesses.

Individual match-funded grants of between £1,000 to £9,000 are available for a limited time, to help SMEs to grow in new international markets. The funding is flexible and can be used for third party advice or services to help business prepare for export and internationalisation. Cost associated with PR, social media and SEO work, market research, intellectual property (IP) rights or even for translation and cultural advice can be included in your application.

To find out how to access the South East Internationalisation project funded under the Enterprise M3 ERDF programme, DIT is hosting a virtual event on Wednesday 29th June from 10am to 11am.

Expert speakers will provide an overview of the fund and eligibility criteria, how to use the fund to help you grow your business overseas, how to prepare your funding application, and secure the grant.

There will also be a follow up opportunity to book a free 1-2-1 meeting with an International Trade Advisor for eligible businesses.
