Uni Centre Farnborough

Project description

The University Centre Farnborough will enhance the College’s vision of a “Community University”. The new centre will house a state of the art university standard library, first class seminar and meeting rooms, and university style social study areas. Facing Farnborough town centre it will form a gateway into this existing Ofsted rated “Outstanding” college and is specifically aimed at raising aspirations and educational progression opportunities for students. The project creates an integrated organisation, with gold standard branding, encompassing a Further Education College, an Apprenticeship agency, a “School” and a “University College”. The new provision will be a spectrum of further and higher education focused on vocational skills, especially in STEM subjects, such as Engineering, Programming, Networking, Internet Technologies, Media Technology and professional qualifications.
