The Links to Work Programme, an employment support initiative managed by Fedcap Employment, is now operating in the EM3 area. The programme provides tailored support for unemployed residents aged 16 years or over and who face additional barriers to gain employment, work for themselves, or overcome health issues to being able to work. Participation is voluntary and free to participants and the aim is to support nearly 600 people into work.

To find out more, or to register for the programme, go to Links to Work.

Referrals can be for up to two years (2021). Since the programme has been operating in this area over 30 customers have started on their steps back into work.

The project is delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and got underway in Autumn 2019. It is funded by European Social Fund as part of the EM3 LEP ESIF programme and is working with the 11 Jobcentre Plus offices across the area.
