From 1 April 2024, the responsibility for LEP functions across the Enterprise M3 LEP region has transferred to Hampshire County Council and Surrey County Council.

The Enterprise M3 Board met for the last time in March 2024 and Enterprise M3 LEP is no longer operating as an organisation.

Please note that Enterprise M3 LEP staff have transferred to Hampshire County Council to continue to deliver services and activities in Hampshire, including the Growth Hub, the Careers Hub, work on key business sectors, and trade and investment.

Project description

The Health Tech Accelerator will create a base and test facility for health tech companies who produce, make or offer digital health technology or services, medical technology, bioscience and life science.

Based at the University of Surrey campus in Guildford, the Health Tech Accelerator includes an Engineering Design Laboratory where health tech SMEs can test and work on technical design for prototypes and products supporting market creation as well as a Digital Ward Laboratory to accommodate patients/participants who will trial the digital health technologies.

Separately, the scheme promoter is also developing a Business Lounge for Start-Ups and SMEs, including hot desking, printing and Wi-Fi facilities.
