An online conference for Careers Leaders to support learning from high quality and relevant Labour Market Information.

Young people with SEND face unique challenges as they progress from school to further learning and the workplace. Being able to understand career pathways and future possibilities is vital. Providing access to relevant careers information can help students determine their work preferences and skills, build a culture of high expectation and connect them to a different future.

This virtual conference will provide Career Leaders and their teams with an opportunity to explore how labour market information can be used to support career decision-making. The event will also help schools and colleges to meet the requirements of Gatsby Benchmark 2 'Learning from career and labour market information'.

With a mix of presentations and discussion with colleagues, the agenda includes sessions on:

What do we mean by labour market information?
National and local sources of labour market information
The top growth sectors in the south-central region
Using labour market information in the classroom
The conference is a joint initiative from Enterprise M3, GFirst, Solent, and Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnerships and is intended for schools and colleges who are members of Careers Hubs or Enterprise Adviser Networks in those areas.
